Uni Style Fit

February is the month of InCoWriMo, or International Correspondence Writing Month. Obviously, InCoWriMo cannot go by without a stationery review. Today, I will be reviewing my favorite multipen, the Uni Style Fit. As always, you can scroll to the bottom for a tl;dr, unless you want an in-depth review — then block of text it is!

Zebra Airfit

Okay, I know what you’re thinking. Woah, Marlie! You’re awfully prolific this week! You’ve probably posted more this week, than you did last year!

My friend recently gave me a Zebra Airfit pencil and ballpoint pen, which I will be reviewing down below!

Grab Bag 2016

First thing’s first, HAPPY NEW YEAR!!!

To celebrate the new year, I went to J town with some friends to visit a temple. At this temple, we like to get our fortunes on slips of paper. This year, my fortune said “Very Good”, but everything listed on the paper was kind of terrible.

When there’s bad luck, you’re supposed to tie the fortune onto a wire or something like that, so the bad luck doesn’t stay with you. I’m not 100% sure how the tradition goes; Nuko probably has better insight on this topic.

Okay, now to the meat of this post. What’s that tote bag for Marlie? Dog Patch? What’s that? WELL, I’m glad someone asked (…no one asked). It’s my annual grab bag purchase from the Kinokuniya New Year’s sale. This year my grab bag came in a literal tote bag. More details after the jump.  Continue reading

PLUS Deco Rush

decoR_001I can’t believe it’s been so long since we’ve posted on this blog. The main reasons are probably because we were either too busy or we didn’t really have anything to post on. Anyways, I thought I would do a stationery post since my friend gave me some interesting items that I can post on. Usually, marlie would be in charge of the stationery section, but I’ll give it a wing. In this post, I’ll be reviewing on the PLUS Decorush.  Continue reading

Pilot Kakuno

It’s February, which means it’s time for InCoWriMo again! If you don’t know what InCoWriMo is, it’s sort of like a challenge to write a letter, card, or postcard every day for the month of February. If that doesn’t revitalize the lost art of correspondence via letter writing, I don’t know what will.  Naturally, it’s also an excuse to bust out your favorite writing implements and fancy paper. In this post, I will be reviewing a beginner’s fountain pen, the Pilot Kakuno!  Continue reading

Sakura Souffle Pens

Today is stationery Tuesday!!! Okay, granted it’s the first stationery Tuesday we’ve had in a long while. Today, I will be reviewing Sakura Souffle pens. These pens are craft pens that can be used on multiple surfaces. There are ten different colors, but I will only be reviewing eight. Keep reading for the review!  Continue reading

Pilot Frixion Point (05)

I remember the first time I saw Pilot Frixion pens I was insanely jealous. Before Pilot Frixion pens were common in the US, the erasable pens here were absolutely terrible. I am biased because I don’t like thick tipped ballpoint pens — which most of the erasable pens were, if you could even really call those pens erasable. Not only did they write ugly, they were difficult to get a clean erase. FORTUNATELY, with the advent of the Frixion pens, these problems are solved! Pilot Frixion pens come in many colors (drooling at clear blue and apple green), different tip sizes (0.4, 0.5, 0.7), and different styles (cap, clicky). I have the 0.5 capped kind in black, purple, blue, green, pink, and red.

My lengthy review will be after the jump, and as always, skip to the bottom if you want a tl;dr.
