Is this too good to be true? A healthy chocolate cookie bar!?
The selling point of this healthy snack bar is to give a satisfying portion to fill your empty stomach when you’re running late and don’t have time to eat. The idea is to be able to get a healthy nutrition while eating a delicious chocolate cookie bar. This brand series has other flavors such as Boysenberry, Chocolate Banana, and Yogurt flavor.
If you look at the picture, it doesn’t look so healthy huh? I mean, it looks like a regular cookie bar. According to the wrapper, it says that the bar consists 10 types of vitamins, 1/3 of calcium and iron that a person should consume per day, and 3 grams of fiber. It uses a combination of a low glycaemic carbohydrate called Palatinose in order to provide a long lasting energy in form of glucose. Therefore, the cookie bar should give you a long lasting satisfaction for your hungry tummy. Also, the wrapper contains the main ingredients people might be allergic to in a box located in a different section separate from the overall ingredients, so personally I think it’s easier to read and is more noticeable. The allergic ingredients include flour, eggs, milk, oranges, and and soybean.
When I took a bite of this nutritious cookie bar, there’s this citrus scent with a cocoa taste, in addition to some chocolate chips inside. I felt the citrus smell/taste was in the way of its cocoa taste. It reminded me how chocolate and orange doesn’t suit well. Also, I could taste and feel the texture of the vitamins as well. I personally prefer a regular cookie bar ( `◔ω◔) ahaha.
